There's Some Good in the World

I made this almost exactly a year and a month ago, so I was 15, and it was my first really big work of art. (Actually, so far... my only. Life has been crazy.)

It was drawn as a father's day present for my dad, whose favorite character is Samwise Gamgee-- because Sam was the one who had the choice to turn back at any time, but decided to stay. Middle Earth would not have been saved without Sam's loyalty.

Our scanner only scans letter size, so I had to take a photo of this drawing. It doesn't have the same depth of shading as the real drawing. You can see some of the difference in this WIP photo in my scraps [link]
